Several Woolf McClane attorneys (together with a few of their hard-working kids) volunteered at Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee on Saturday, August 10, as part of the Knoxville Bar Association Hunger & Poverty Relief Committee’s “Firms for Food” project. Second Harvest is East Tennessee’s largest hunger-relief charity, operating programs in 18 counties and securing and distributing over 16 million pounds of food and grocery products annually through a network of over 500 nonprofit partner organizations such as food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters and schools.
On this occasion, the Woolf McClane team of volunteers spent the afternoon repackaging and weighing cereal for distribution to individuals in need.
