WBIR Channel 10 news interviewed J. Chad Hatmaker on May 30, 2018, regarding the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency’s request for information about employees at Paula Deen’s Pigeon Forge restaurant.
ICE has requested additional documentation from these employees “because based on what has been submitted so far there are questions regarding their eligibility to work in the U.S.”
According to Mr. Hatmaker, “it is too soon to say what penalty the restaurant or the employees may face.”
