Daniel J. Moore is a member in the firm whose primary areas of practice include real estate, contracts, general business, and corporate law. Mr. Moore has handled a wide variety of complex real estate related transactions and general business matters, including the acquisition of a chain of convenience stores, the establishment of a condominium regime for a medical office building, and payment in lieu of taxes transactions for a local manufacturing facility. Mr. Moore often serves as special local counsel to out-of-state lenders and borrowers.
Mr. Moore is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Fairview Technology Center, a local business incubator facility.
Mr. Moore is a native of Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated from Bradley University in 1977 with a B.S. in political science. Mr. Moore received his J.D. with high honors from The University of Tennessee College of Law in 1985. While in law school, Mr. Moore served as a research editor of The Tennessee Law Review and was a member of the winning team in the Advocate’s Prize Moot Court competition. He also is a member of the Order of the Coif.
Mr. Moore is a member of the Knoxville and Tennessee Bar Associations and the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association.
