"Firms for Food" – Woolf McClane Accepts the Challenge

Woolf McClane recently won First Place in the "raw poundage" contest portion of the "Firms for Food" canned-food drive sponsored by the Knoxville Barristers.  The competition was initiated as an emergency measure to assist the Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee, which in recent months has experienced a dramatic decrease in the level of donations it customarily receives, coupled with a dramatic increase in demand for food by those who have lost jobs as a result of the economic downturn.  To help give them a "boost" going into the holiday season, the attorneys and staff at Woolf McClane collected and donated over 250 pounds of canned food and other dry food staples to Second Harvest.
