Brad Sagraves is an associate in the firm. His primary areas of practice include tax litigation, estate planning, and general corporate and transactional law.
Mr. Sagraves graduated magna cum laude from Lee University in 2004 with a B.A. in political science. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law, with honors in 2008, with a concentration in business transactions. While in law school, he co-authored Material Adverse Change Clauses in Tennessee: Genesco v. Finish Line, 9 Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law 343 (Spring 2008), an article about the failed merger between Genesco and Finish Line that was litigated in Tennessee. In 2009, he graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law with an LL.M. in taxation. While in the program, Mr. Sagraves was awarded the Janice Dawson Quinn Graduate Assistantship and served as a graduate assistant to Professor Paul R. McDaniel.
Mr. Sagraves has been admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Tennessee since 2008 and the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee and the U.S. Tax Court since 2009. He is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
