Meghan H. Morgan


Meghan H. Morgan is an associate in the firm whose practice is focused primarily on civil and commercial litigation. Ms. Morgan assists her clients in various litigation matters including landlord and tenant, product liability, construction, and general civil matters.

Ms. Morgan was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2002 with a B.A. in political science with a concentration in public administration. While at the University of Tennessee, Ms. Morgan was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Vice President of the student body and was awarded the University of Tennessee’s highest student honor, the Torchbearer. Ms. Morgan obtained her J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2005. While in law school, Ms. Morgan participated in the mock trial competition and was active in the Women in Law student organization. Ms. Morgan spent two years in the Virginia Capital Case Clearinghouse where she was both a staff writer and executive editor of the Capital Defense Journal.

Ms. Morgan was admitted to practice law in 2005 in state courts in Tennessee.  She has also been admitted in the United States District Courts in the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Tennessee as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.  She is a member of Young Professionals of Knoxville and served three years as its Secretary.  She is also serving on the board of the Knox County Chapter of the University of Tennessee Alumni Association and is currently the organization’s Treasurer.  Ms. Morgan is a member of the Association of General Contractors, the Construction Leadership Counsel, and is a member of the American, Tennessee and Knoxville Bar Associations.  Ms. Morgan is the co-chair of the Law School Outreach Committee for the Knoxville Barristers and enjoys all types of public service.
